Can Xbox 360 RROD always be fixed?

Most RROD faults can be repaired. A reflow is cheaper but may not last as long as a full reball. We'll advise which is appropriate after the diagnostic.

What's the difference between reflow and reball?

Reflowing uses heat to re-melt existing solder joints. Reballing removes the chip entirely and replaces all solder balls with new ones - a more permanent solution.

How long does RROD repair take?

Typically 1–2 days due to the reflow and testing process.

The Red Ring of Death (RROD) is when three or four of the four LEDs around the Xbox 360 power button glow red, indicating a general hardware failure. It became one of the most infamous console failures in gaming history, affecting millions of units.
